Glover at youth national team camp
Caden Glover of Columbia, a 17-year-old forward for St. Louis City SC in Major League Soccer, has been called up to the first U.S. U-20 Men’s Youth National Team camp of the year.
Glover is taking part in the team’s domestic training camp this week in West Palm Beach, Fla.
During the camp, the U-20s will spend a day training with the senior U.S. men’s national team in Florida and will finish the week with a scrimmage against MLS club Nashville SC this Saturday.
This will be Glover’s first call-up to the U-20 squad after having received his first call-up to the U-19s in December. Glover has now received U.S. Youth National Team call-ups at the U-20, U-19, U-17, U-16 and U-15 levels.
Glover is coming off a successful MLS NEXT Pro post-season with St Louis City 2 in which he assisted on back-to-back game-winning goals.
St. Louis City 2 is the reserve team of St. Louis City SC.
The striker made 20 appearances for City 2 in the 2024 season, scoring four goals and providing one assist.
Glover made five appearances for St. Louis City SC in 2024, playing 51 minutes. Glover has made 15 goal contributions in his young professional career so far and has played a total of 61 minutes with the MLS club.
