Gibault boys basketball | Team of the Week

The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Gibault Catholic High School boys basketball squad coached by Dennis Rueter. The Hawks won the IHSA Class 1A state title Saturday in Champaign with a 65-45 victory over Scales Mound. Gibault advanced to the state title game with a 70-46 victory Thursday over Bloomington’s Cornerstone Christian Academy. The Hawks finished the season with a school record 32 wins.
