The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Gibault Catholic High School varsity baseball squad. Despite losing several key members from its 2023 Class 1A state title team, the Hawks managed to win a regional championship this spring. Gibault lost in the sectional round last Wednesday to finish the 2024 campaign with a record of 14-22. The Hawks went 11-8 following a 3-14 start to the season.
