The Gibault Catholic High School volleyball team is this week’s Republic-Times Team of the Week. The Hawks completed a successful season with a heartbreaking three-set loss to (Albion) Edwards County in the Class 2A Vandalia Supersectional on Nov. 8.

The Hawks won regional and sectional titles this year under head coach Heather Ebert. Read more in this week’s Republic-Times newspaper.

Corey is the editor of the Republic-Times. He has worked at the newspaper since 2004, and currently resides in Columbia. He is also the principal singer-songwriter and plays guitar in St. Louis area country-rock band The Trophy Mules.
