Gerald Niederstadt, 79, of Waterloo, died Dec. 22, 2014 in Waterloo.

He was born Aug. 15, 1935 in Murphysboro, son of the late Reinhold Albert and Irene Niederstadt, nee Ahner.

He is survived by his daughter, Gina Lee of Virginia Beach, Va.; his brothers and sisters, Carol Ann (Ron) Reule of Portland, Oregon, Curtis C. (Judith) Niederstadt of Friedheim, Mo., Suzanne (David) Zimmermann of Waterloo, and Kenneth (Karen) Niederstadt of St. Louis, Mo., his grandchildren, John Lee, JJ Lee and Gerald Lee, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son Steven Niederstadt.

All services will be private.
