The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Waterloo bowler Gabbie Hoge. West Park Bowl in Columbia was the site of the Junior Regionals from Nov. 1-9, a scratch junior bowler scholarship tournament based on a format used by Professional Bowlers Association. In the Pros Division (180 to 199 average), Gabbie Hoge of Waterloo battled Kaleb House of Bonne Terre, Mo., for the championship. Hoge took the championship game, 205-179, earning $100.
