Furnace fire east of Waterloo

The Waterloo Fire Department responded about 12:20 p.m. Monday to a fire inside a furnace at 6822 Quail Ridge Lane east of Waterloo.
Initial reports are that the fire was doused with an extinguisher prior to fire department arrival.
Firefighters cleared the scene at 12:45 p.m.
