Friday fire call east of Waterloo

The Waterloo Fire Department responded at about 10:05 a.m. Friday to a fire reported in the ceiling of a pump house in the 600 block of Goeddeltown Road east of Waterloo.

Upon the arrival on scene of a Monroe County Sheriff’s Department deputy, the fire was seen smoldering in the ceiling area of the pump house.

WFD units returned to the station about 30 minutes later.
