Fred and Rosalia Krewer

Fred and Rosalia Krewer (nee Wuertz) are celebrating their upcoming 70th wedding anniversary on May 6.

The two were married on May 6, 1944 at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Waterloo.

They are both retired from Monroe County Nursing Home and are members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Valmeyer.

Fred is also a member of Valmeyer American Legion Post 901.

Their children are Marlene Bair of Crystal City, Mo. and Penny (Dennis) Heusohn of Valmeyer.

They also have five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Fred and Rosalia currently reside at Oak Hill Nursing Home in Waterloo, where their anniversary celebration will take place.

Tammy Taylor

Tammy is an award-winning Graphic Artist for the Republic-Times. She has worked at the newspaper for almost 15 years, while her and her husband Norman, of 34 years, are owners of Sunderman's Garage in Columbia. She enjoys photography and her five grandchildren.
