Fred and Fern Kinzinger | Anniversary

Fred and Fern Kinzinger of Columbia celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Oct. 19, 2014 with a dinner for family and friends at the Monroe County Fairgrounds.

Fred Kinzinger and Fern Schmieg were married Oct. 16, 1954 at Our Lady Good Counsel in Renault.

Fred is a 60-year member of the Carpenters Local Union. Fred was a building contractor and land developer for thirty years before retirement.

Fern retired from Waterloo Walmart as a department manager after 18 years of service.

They have four children: Janet Bocskowics, Barbara (Donald) Landgraf, Ronald (Denise) Kinzinger and Roger (Laura) Kinzinger. They also have eight grandchildren: Tammy (Chris) Rahn, Scott Landgraf, Erin Ries, Andrea Bocskowics, Rory and Nate Kinzinger, Eric (Nicole) Kinzinger and Justin (Emily) Kinzinger; and three great-grandsons: Evan and Drew Rahn and Hunter Kinzinger.
