Fred A. Krewer Jr.

Fred A. Krewer Jr., 92, of Valmeyer, died May 8, 2014 in Red Bud.

He was born July 29, 1921 in Willisville, son of the late Fred. A. Sr. and Mary, nee Danley, Krewer.

He was a member of Valmeyer American Legion Post 901 and St. Mary Catholic Church in Valmeyer.

Mr. Krewer is survived by his wife Rosalia Krewer, nee Wuertz; children Marlene Bair and Penny (Dennis) Heusohn; grandchildren Mitchell (Janice) Bair, Elizabeth (Dustin) Walker, Denise Evans, Dawn Heusohn; brother Gaillard (Patricia) Krewer; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Joseph Krewer, son-in-law Edwin Bair and special friend Father Jack Flanery.

Visitation took place May 9 and 10 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo.

A funeral Mass took place May 10 at St. Mary Church in Valmeyer.

Interment followed at Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Waterloo.

Memorials may be made to the St. Mary Building Fund, Oak Hill or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
