A Flash Flood Warning was issued early Monday morning until 11 a.m. for Monroe County due to heavy amounts of rainfall received this weekend. Be alert for standing water on local roadways.

Readers report that there are multiple crossings on Bluff Road that are completely covered by water, including near KK Road and at Fults Road. Another reader reported that Kaskaskia Road in Burksville had standing water Monday morning.

There was another report late Monday morning of standing water on Ames Road about two miles off Route 3.
