Field fire near St. Joe

The Maeystown and Waterloo fire departments responded shortly after 4 p.m. Monday to a wheat field fire in the area of 4275 Kaskaskia Road about 400 feet north of St. Joe near Sprankel Road.

The Waterloo Fire Department provided mutual aid with its brush and tanker trucks.
