The Waterloo Fire Department assisted the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department and Monroe County EMS with a crash involving a FedEx box truck that had fallen on its side in the area of G Road south of MM Road near Renault shortly after noon on Monday.

Firefighters used extrication tools to safely remove the male driver by removing the front windshield, who was transported by ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The driver was identified as Ryan Nordike of Cahokia. No tickets were issued.
