Monroe County volleyball teams dominated throughout the season, racking up tough conference victories and compiling impressive records.

The Columbia Eagles finished their season with a record of 26-9 and in second place in the Mississippi Conference with a 9-2 conference record. After a first-round bye, the Eagles were defeated in their regional semifinal game.

Gibault made the deepest run into the postseason. The Hawks, 24-9, finished their season one win away from a trip to the super-sectionals.

The Valmeyer Pirates followed up last season’s fourth-place finish in the state tournament, ended their season 24-11, with an undefeated 10-0 record and first-place finish in the Kaskaskia Conference. They had a first round bye, and lost in their regional semifinal game.

The Dupo Tigers were 5-16 on the season and finished in sixth place in the Kaskaskia Conference. They lost in their first round of postseason play, in their regional quarterfinal.
