The annual Waterloo High School Band Parents Mouse Races and Silent Auction takes place this Saturday, Jan. 22, beginning at 7 p.m. at Metzger-Crook VFW Post 6504, 406 Veterans Drive, Waterloo. Doors open at 6 p.m. and admission is $5. There will also be mouse roulette, plinko and a 50/50 raffle. Bring your own snacks, but no outside beverages.
