As part of its yearlong tricentennial celebration, the Prairie du Rocher Community Foundation and PdR Athletic Association are sponsoring a Vintage Baseball Game between the St. Charles Explorers and Belleville Stags this Saturday, May 14 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church grounds.

The game will be played by the rules of 1860, which means no gloves. The vintage game begins at 5:30 p.m., but festivities kick off at 1 p.m. with a co-ed softball tournament. The first 300 fans to visit the giveaway table at 4:30 p.m. will receive a commemorative giveaway. There will also be a time capsule opening at 5 p.m. There is no entry fee but donations will be accepted.
