Sons of the American Legion are again hosting a Veterans Honor-Que with events this Friday and Saturday.

A BBQ and Beer Dance takes place Friday night at a cost of $30 per person at Columbia American Legion Post 581, 375 E. Locust Street. Music will be provided by Boulderdash and Kentucky Straight. Call 618-920-0393 for tickets.

On Saturday, a veterans parade takes place at 10 a.m. from South Main Street to the legion hall, followed by food and drinks for purchase at the hall and music from noon to 3 p.m. as a BBQ competition takes place.

The Columbia Athletic Association is hosting a kickball tournament at noon on Saturday, plus there is a Kids-Que during the afternoon.
