The Valmeyer Mid-Summer Celebration is this Thursday through Sunday, kicking off with the Mon-Clair League baseball tourney beginning at 9 a.m. Thursday. Also on Independence Day, Dos Amigos plays from 5-9 p.m., followed by a colossal fireworks display at dusk. The fun continues July 5 with youth baseball at 4 p.m., a beer pong tournament at 6 p.m. and music by Wildfire from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. On Saturday and Sunday, baseball and music continues along with the Brent Roever Memorial Volleyball Tournament beginning at 9 a.m. July 6.
