The Valmeyer Volunteer Fire Department will hold an open house Saturday, Sept. 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 626 S. Meyer Avenue. There will be fun for the whole family, including a chance to meet and greet firefighters, fire prevention information, a vehicle extraction drill at 11 p.m., food available for purchase and more.
