The self-guided Butterfly Fest begins Aug. 15 at Baebler Educational Farm, 4022 JJ Road, Waterloo. From 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., learn about butterflies, native bees and flowers on the hiking trails. Activity bags are available at the farm kiosk near the drive-up entrance. Bags include trail maps and points of interest, native plant guides, pollinator scavenger hunt info for youth participation and photo contest information.
