Maeystown’s Old-Fashioned German Christmas takes place this Sunday, Dec. 5, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Band Room Brass will stroll through the village from noon to 2 p.m., and Carl Seavers and Jim Abbott will perform holiday music on dulcimers and other instruments in the Preservation Society Mill throughout the day.

A German carol sing takes place at St. John Church at 3 p.m., with a traditional carol sing at 4 p.m. at the mill and the lighting of the village Weihnachatsbaum concluding activities.

The mill will have woodcarvings, German Paper Star folding and other items, along with a photo opportunity outside with the victorian sleigh.

Sankt Nikolaus will stroll throughout the village, and guests can take a complimentary carriage ride.

Food and drink will be available throughout the day.
