The New Athens Volunteer Fire Department 35th annual BBQ will be held starting at 11 a.m. March 8 at The Bull Pen, 101 N. Van Buren Street. Pork steaks, chicken, brats, baked beans, slaw, potato salad, German potato salad, pie and cake will be available for purchase to benefit the department.
