The Roger Muertz Memorial Fishing Tournament takes place this Saturday, July 22.

The bass and bluegill tournament begins at noon with weigh-in no later than noon at Freeda’s Bar, 2017 Main Street in Renault.

Cost is $20 per two-person team.

The contest is for the highest weight for five bass and 10 bluegill. There is an additional $5 entry fee for biggest single bass and single bluegill.

A fish fry will begin immediately after weigh-in.
