27th Annual Weihnachtsfest {German Christmas Festival} on Sunday, December 5, 2021, sponsored by Millstadt Sister Cities at St. James Parish Center, 423 W. Madison St. (one block South of Highway 158).
The craft fair opens at 10:00 am and features holiday gifts, hand-crafted jewelry, and decorative items.
A holiday Cookie Walk offers home-made Christmas cookies including German specialties.
German food (sauerbraten, bratwurst, schnitzel, potato pancakes, red cabbage, sauerkraut, and strudel) will be served beginning at 11:30 am.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive in a parade at 12:00 Noon. Entertainment will be provided by the Millstadt Community Choir, Waterloo German Band and St. Louis German Cultural Society Jugendgruppe {youth group} dancers.
There is no admission charge. Alles Willkommen!
Proceeds will benefit Millstadt Sister Cities’ Youth Ambassador Exchange and other programs with Gross-Bieberau, Germany.
