The second ever Makanda Mushroom Festival, hosted by Flyway Family Farm and local creative, Katherine Accettura, will be held on Earth Day weekend, April 22 – 24, 2022. Gates open at 3 pm Friday April 22 – 3 pm Sunday April 24. This outdoor festival features a variety of expert-led workshops and presentations, guided hikes and a juried artist and vendor market, Roots Run Deep Food Truck, and more. The Makanda Mushroom Festival is held on a gorgeous 250-acre property along Grassy Lake at Camp Manitowa-Cedar Point. We offer day passes for Saturday for $35 each (kids 5 and under FREE), and weekend passes for $50 each – which includes on-site tent camping Friday and Saturday and access to all workshops and hikes Friday – Sunday. Campers and RVs are welcome, but we do not have hookups. Tent camping sites are first come, first served.
