In memory of fallen Illinois State Police Trooper Nick Hopkins, residents of Waterloo, Columbia and neighboring communities are invited to participate in “Light It Up Blue” from 7-10 p.m. this Monday, Sept. 9.
Blue light bulbs will be available for purchase from 4-7 p.m. Sept. 5 and 9-11 a.m. Sept. 7 at the Waterloo Fire Department for residents to use on their front porches.
