The annual Immaculate Conception Labor Day Parish Picnic takes place Monday, Sept. 2, on the church and school grounds, 409 Palmer Road, Columbia. A chicken dinner is served from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the gym, and quilt bingo takes place under a large tent starting at 11 a.m. Live music includes the Waterloo German Band from 1-3 p.m. and Main Street Jazz from 4-6:30 p.m. For more information, call 618-281-5105.
