The last fish fry hosted by the Valmeyer Knights of Columbus is this Friday, March 31, at St. Mary’s Parish Center, 116 W. Woodland Ridge in Valmeyer. Cod or shrimp plates with homemade sides are served from 4-7:30 p.m.

The Waterloo VFW, 406 Veterans Drive, has Lenten specials from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. each Friday. In addition to fish plates and sandwiches, bulk fried fish orders for cod, catfish, walleye and shrimp of a half pound, one pound and 1.5 pound are available.The post will have an all-you-can-eat buffet from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Good Friday, April 7.
