Monroe County EMS is  hosting a free “Learn CPR” class at the ambulance garage, 901 Illinois Avenue, Waterloo, on Monday, Jan. 17.

The session begins at 5 p.m.

This class will teach attendees what to do in the event of a cardiac arrest and provide the tools needed to increase chances of survival in the community.

Participants who complete the course will receive American Heart Association certification.
