The Valmeyer Lions Club will take over fish fry duties this Friday, March 7, at The Corn Crib, 107 MAR Court. Fish plates with two sides are $13. A child’s plate with one side is $8.50. You can also get a fish sandwich for $7 or just fish for $17 per pound. Sides include fries, onion rings, baked beans and potato salad.

Waterloo VFW Post 6504 is hosting weekly fish frys every Friday during Lent from 3-7 p.m. They have cod, catfish, walleye and shrimp with slaw, mac-n-cheese, fries, hush puppies, onion rings and potato salad. The fish buffet Annbriar Smokehouse Restaurant continues at Annbriar, 1524 Birdie Lane, Waterloo, from 4-8 p.m. every Friday through April 18. The buffet includes cod, pollock, jack salmon, and catfish. Sides include mac ‘n cheese, hush puppies, homemade clam chowder, salad bar and desserts.
