You only have two more Fridays to get your Lenten season fish fix. Get it while it’s hot.

The Valmeyer Knights of Columbus continue Friday fish frys this week from 4-7:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church Hall, 116 W. Woodland Ridge. They will also have dine-in or carry-out service this Friday, April 11, with cod or shrimp plates and homemade sides.

A Monroe County staple, the Waterloo Sportsman’s Club Lenten Fish Fry Fridays, continues through April 18 at 4903 Sportsman Road. If you want it, they probably have it. The fish buffet at Annbriar Smokehouse Restaurant continues, 1524 Birdie Lane, Waterloo, from 4-8 p.m. every Friday through April 18. The buffet includes cod, pollock, jack salmon, and catfish. Sides include mac ‘n cheese, hush puppies, homemade clam chowder, salad bar and desserts. Cost is $19.95 for adults and $10.95 for kids ages 5-10. Children ages 4 and younger eat free. Waterloo VFW Post 6504 hosts a weekly Friday fish during Lent from 3-7 p.m., dine-in or carryout. They have cod, catfish, walleye and shrimp with slaw, mac-n-cheese, fries, hush puppies, onion rings and potato salad. They also serve chicken strips. Dine-in or carry out.
