Waterloo VFW Post 6504 is hosting weekly fish frys every Friday during Lent from 3-7 p.m. They have cod, catfish, walleye and shrimp with slaw, mac-n-cheese, fries, hush puppies, onion rings and potato salad. St. John United Church of Christ, 201 S. Meyer Drive, Valmeyer, will have a carry-out only fish fry this Friday, March 14, from 4-7:30 p.m. offering cod cut-ups and sides.

The fish buffet at Annbriar Smokehouse Restaurant continues Annbriar, 1524 Birdie Lane, Waterloo, from 4-8 p.m. every Friday through April 18. The buffet includes cod, pollock, jack salmon, and catfish. Sides include mac ‘n cheese, hush puppies, homemade clam chowder, salad bar and desserts.
