The Columbia police, fire and EMS departments will host their annual Public Safety Open House from 4:30-7 p.m. next Wednesday, May 10, at 1020 N. Main Street. The event is free and open to the public. Participants can check out equipment and vehicles and get important fire safety and crime prevention information. Hot dogs and chips will be available at no cost while supplies last.
