Columbia Boy Scout Troop 320 is collecting old Christmas lights to recycle. There will be marked collection tubs available at Columbia City Hall, the Columbia Scout Hut at Metter Park, Columbia American Legion and Ace Hardware until Jan. 13. For more information, call 314-591-7598.

Lights will also be accepted during a Christmas tree recycling event this Saturday, Jan. 13, at Bolm-Schuhkraft Park, 1200 N. Evergreen Lane, Columbia. Trees (live, not artificial) will be accepted from 10 a.m. to noon. For more information, visit the City of Columbia IL Facebook page.
