Shawn and Ashley Hewitt of Waterloo announce the birth of their daughter, Evelyn Pearl Hewitt.

She was born August 28, 2013, at 1:44 p.m., at St. Clare Health Center, Fenton, Mo.

She weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces, and was 21 inches long.

Her paternal grandparents are Jim and Freida Hewitt of Waterloo.

Maternal grandparents are Leroy and Karen Roider of Columbia.

Great-grandparents are Elmer and Ardell Roider of Columbia, Pearl Hirsch of Waterloo, the late Adolph Hirsch, the late David and Ofelia Hewitt, and the late Marie and James Miller.
