The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Waterloo High School football player Evan Davis. The senior running back rushed for 300 yards on 30 carries in Friday’s home win over Carbondale with two touchdowns. He ran for 946 yards and 13 TDs for the Bulldogs last season.
