The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Waterloo High School football player Evan Davis. The junior running back rushed for 152 yards and a touchdown in Friday’s overtime loss to Civic Memorial. For the season, Davis has rushed for 600 yards and nine TDs. He averages 5.9 yards per carry for the Bulldogs.
