The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Gibault Catholic High School softball player Emma Schmidt. The junior outfielder leads the Hawks in hitting at .595 this spring with a .688 on base percentage, five home runs, 20 RBIs, 19 runs and seven stolen bases.
