Griffin and Ashley Gibbs of Mt. Zion are proud to announce the birth of their first child, daughter Emery Olivia.

She was born Nov. 19, 2012, at 4:22 p.m., weighing 6 pounds, 15 ounces, and was 19 inches long.

Her first-time grandparents are Bruce and Julie Huber of Decatur, and Ed and Susan Gibbs of Columbia.

Great-grandmothers are Shirley Chapin of Hillsboro, Mary Lou Huber of Witt, and Irene Akers of Waterloo.
