Edna Wetzler, nee Gaitsch, 78, of Red Bud, died Dec. 20, 2014 in Red Bud.

She was born Sept. 17, 1936 in Red Bud, daughter of the late Theodore H. and Mayme Gaitsch, nee Mennerich.

She is survived by her children, Barbara (Gary) Doerr, Glenn (Gale) Wetzler, Larry (Gina) Wetzler; grandchildren, Dr. Ryan (Dr. Elisa) Wetzler, Justin (Sarah) Wetzler, Dr. Nathan (Dr. Debbie) Doerr, Garrett (Holly) Doerr, Andrew (Amanda) Wetzler, Bradley Wetzler (Tiera Losee); great-grandchildren, Mason Wetzler, Logan Wetzler, Ava Wetzler, Cameron Wetzler, Emily Wetzler, Aiden Doerr, Gavin Doerr, Gavin Doerr, Ava Doerr and Mackenzie Doerr; sister-in-law June Gaitsch; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lloyd A. Wetzler, and brother Donald L. Gaitsch.

Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 23 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo.

A funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Dec. 23 at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery in Waterloo.
