The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Valmeyer baseball player Easton Wallace.

The junior led the Pirates with a .481 average this spring and 14 doubles. He also had 32 RBIs, 35 runs scored and 18 stolen bases, and compiled a 6-1 record on the mound with a 2.80 ERA.
