Early morning DUI crash near Wartburg

Emergency personnel responded about 12:40 a.m. Friday to a single-vehicle crash on Maeystown Road at JJ Road just south of Waterloo.

Police said the 19-year-old male driver of a 2013 Ford Focus was not injured in the crash. He was arrested for DUI, however.

Assisting the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department at the scene was the Waterloo Fire Department.
