A 32-year-old Dupo man died in a rainy two-vehicle crash that occurred shortly before midnight Wednesday on Route 3 in Sauget.

Police said the deceased, identified as Daniel Tutor, was a front seat passenger in a northbound SUV that struck the rear of a propane tanker truck. No propane leaked from the tanker, police said.

The driver of the SUV, whose name was not released, was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital and later released. The driver of the tanker truck was not injured.

Braun Colonial Funeral Home in Cahokia is handling funeral arrangements for Tutor.
