Columbia High School basketball player Drew Huebner is this week’s Republic-Times Athlete of the Week.

Huebner was named MVP of this year’s Columbia-Freeburg Holiday Basketball Tournament after averaging 14.5 points and nine rebounds per game over four games played — including a 24-point, 12-rebound effort against Waterloo.

The Eagles won the tournament and are now 11-0 on the season.
