Donald “Fuzzy” Nevois | Obituary

Donald “Fuzzy” Nevois, 78, of Red Bud, died Nov. 19, 2014 in Red Bud.

He was born Oct. 29, 1936 in Prarie du Rocher, son of the late Noah Nevois and Cora Roy.

He married Margaret “Peggy” Laurent on Jan. 7, 1960 at St. Joseph Church.

She preceded him in death on Aug. 18, 2007.

He was the retired owner of Fuzzyland Homes and former owner of of Knotty Pines Trailer Court.

He was a member of St. John’s CAtholic Church in Red Bud.

Donald is survived by  his sons and daughters, Rodney (Kim) Nevois of Red Bud, Brian Nevois of Waterloo, Brad (Cathy) Nevois of Waterloo, Julie Nevois of Topeka, Kan.; siblings Arvellia Roscow of Red Bud and Shirley (Tom) Lurk of Fort Gibson, Miss.; grandchildren Cameron, Tyler, Erica, Nate and Noah Nevois.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Visitation will take place from 3 to 8 p.m. Nov. 23 and 9 to 10:45 a.m. Nov. 24 at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud.

A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Nov. 24 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Red Bud.

Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Southern Illinois or Shriners Hospital For Children.
