The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Columbia High School football player Dominic Voegele. The senior quarterback led the Eagles in a 9-0 win at home Friday night over Monroe County football rival Waterloo. He rushed for 177 yards and a touchdown and threw for 71 yards. Voegele also kicked a 47-yard field goal. On defense, he made two interceptions and recorded seven tackles.
