Diane Kay Roy, 60, of Red Bud, died Aug. 22, 2014 in Red Bud.

She was born Sept. 14, 1953 in Red Bud, daughter of the late Robert and Florence Rains, nee Stellhorn.

She was married to Norman A. Roy on Feb. 6, 1998 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Red Bud; he survives her.

Mrs. Roy worked in the baking field for 35 years and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Red Bud Senior Center.

She is survived by her husband, sons Kevin and Brian Zeiger of Red Bud, brother David (Theresa) Seemann of Red Bud, sister-in-law Sarah Rains, and grandchildren Kerrigan and Sophia Zeiger and Brooke Roy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-in-law Connie and Richard Buch, and brother Robert Rains.

Visitation took place Aug. 24 and 25 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Red Bud.

A funeral service took place Aug. 25 at the church.

Interment followed at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Red Bud.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetic Association or St. Jude’s Hospital.
