Diana L. Farley | Obituary

Diana L. Farley, 57, of Steeleville, died Aug. 21, 2015, at the Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

She was born Nov. 18, 1957, in Red Bud, the daughter of the late Clarence and Bernice Doyle Reitz.

She married Gary R. Farley June 29, 1983, at Chester.

Diana was a Security Therapy Aid III at Chester Mental Health. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Willisville and the Steeleville Chapter of the O.E.S.

Diana is survived by her husband, Gary R. Farley of Steeleville; four children, Christina (Phillip) Barnett of Percy, Angela (Vincent) Rogers of Steeleville, Andrea (Eric) Pasquino of Pinckneyville, and Alyssa (Corey) Phoenix of Ava; six granddaughters; two grandsons; one great-granddaughter; five siblings, Dan (Joyce) Reitz of Steeleville, Rich Reitz and Kelly of Steeleville, Glenda Reitz and Gary of Percy, Darryl (Phyllis) Winkelman of Steeleville, and Cheryl (Michael) Haberberger of Chester; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and close friend, Jude McDonnough of Steeleville.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation was Aug. 24, at Wilson’s Funeral Home, Steeleville.

A funeral Mass was said at Aug. 25, 2015, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Willisville, with Father Leo J. Hayes officiating.

Interment followed at Paradise Cemetery in Steeleville.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society, Shriners Hospital for Children, or Paradise

Cemetery or in the form of Masses.
