Delores “Marie” Menard | Obituary
Delores “Marie” Menard, 72, of Waterloo, died Sept. 13, 2017, at St. Anthony’s Medical Center, St. Louis.
She was born May 15, 1945, in New Madrid, Mo., daughter of the late James and Blanche Scott (nee Giles).
She married Allen W. Menard on Feb. 8, 1991, in Waterloo; he survives.
Marie had worked for the Missouri Pacific Railroad for 18 years.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Prairie du Rocher. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Prairie du Rocher.
Marie had a big heart and enjoyed to cook and bake. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and wife.
Survivors include her husband; daughters Angela (Rusty) McGee-Heatherly of Naples, Fla., and Rebecca “Becky” (Stacey) Lawrence of Columbia; grandchildren Brooks Heatherly of Los Angeles, Calif., Darren Heatherly of Naples, Fla., and Shelby Heatherly of Naples, Fla.; brothers Bill (Denise) Scott of Goodyear, Ala., Ken Scott of Belleville, Mich., and Steve (Kathy) Scott of Durham, N.C.; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and nine siblings, Donald Scott, James Scott Jr., Grace Whittington, Fleda Whittenberg, Polly Sowell, Bertha Gibson, Mary Hand, Frank Scott, and Barbara Belt.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sept. 17, and 8-9:15 a.m. Sept. 18, at Welge-Pechacek Funeral Home, Red Bud.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Sept. 18, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Prairie du Rocher, Msgr. Daniel J. Jurek officiating.
Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Prairie du Rocher.
